Smile restaurant, Khon Kaen.

This is one of the most beautiful restaurant in Isaan. It's located around Bung Kean Nakhon, near Pimanchol and the big Chinese restaurant. It is not cheap if you compare to Thai standards, but the food is excellent and the ambiance unique. It's truly a place to try if you are in Khon Kaen.

There are tables outside and inside. A large parking can be found behind so you won't have any problems to park. This place offers an amazing view on the lake, great service and very good food.

At night, with all the candles and lantern, it gives a rich and romantic atmosphere.

Their menu have a least 100 dishes. It goes from Yam, Tom Yam, Isaan dishes but also pasta and steaks. We tried steaks few times and were quite happy for the quality compare to the price. Steaks were about 200-250 baht, with sauce, French fries and vegetables.

They have many "Chinese style" dishes with vegetables.

Desserts are available in a display, not very far from the bar.

There are some very good musicians playing at night. We believe you won't be deceived by Smile restaurant in Khon Kaen.
