29 Steaks opened around the year 2000. It is located near the popular farang street or backpackers street, day and night meeting place for foreign tourists and residents in Ayutthaya. It can accommodate about 54 customers, mostly inside, a few also on sidewalk tables outside.

Customers are an even mix of Thai and foreign nationals, including many foreign tourists staying in guesthouses in nearby backpackers street. If you care for a chance to meet other people while having dinner, don't come here before 18:00.

We had a tasty fried rice with pork in red curry (photo) and paid only 55 B, with tip.
