Ban Phako replacing Bule Saloon

Ban Phako should open in the next 2 weeks. That will be replacing what was known as Bule Saloon in Korat, but it will be different.

ack told me yesterday that the grand opening will be on 27 Jan. The headliner will be a band from Bangkok, but the leader of the band is from Korat. The band's name is Yamin, They play a lot in blues bar of Bangkok and Phuket. There will be no cover charge.

They renovated the place, changed the roofs, furniture, many things inside and outside. I have seen the inside yesterday. They have new air conditioning already in Place. Power (amnat) who was from Ban Korat will help to get the musical equipment. I heard they already have their music band.

You can see already their new logo on the street. Jack from Bali Restaurant will be managing this place. I will let you know about the opening when I know. Jack is a good friend. They used to be 3 in that project. They are now only 2 people.

BTW, this place is not intended for foreigners. They will welcome everyone, of course, but it is done Thai style, for Thai clients. But with Jack, you are sure the food will be great and the place will be nicely managed.
They told me that small Lao beer will be something like 55 baht !!!!!
Yes, Lao (not leo). They already have the contacts and everything.

They are planning for a brunch on Sundays, but not at the beginning. Later on. I wish them the best of luck, they are 2 really nice people in Korat.
