George and Dragon is located in the heart of the city, near Tokyo hotel. It's a English pub well known by the local expats (farang). Open every day from noon to late (Except on Sundays, it opens at 4pm). One of the only places with beer Lao (also at PB restaurant) in town.
BLT Sandwich at George and Dragon
Pool table (10 baht/game), giant screen playing sports, fish and chips and English food. Great ambiance, good prices, friendly staff speaking English and Thai. It's owned by Mam (Th) and Phil (UK). Many pool players on Friday night. In 2010, they introduced a new menu with lasagna, fisherman pie, sandwiches, pizza, etc.
